| Felicity, keep trying but I don't think you will persuade her to do anything that challenges these notions. She knows already they are not true but her friendship network, which is probably largely digital, is based around putting forward arguments that make they believe make them appear interesting and well informed. The mechanism is the same as groups of football fans finding fellowship in the belief that a side languishing in the championship is by far the greatest team the world has ever seen. |
