| Putin is behind the Israel attack? Evidence? I'm sure he'd be delighted with this opportunity to show that the poor people of Gaza have been abandoned by the West, but I seriously doubt he's behind it . You think that marching for Palestine is madness. I think it's a sensible measure to show the Netanyahu government that the world disapproves of its war crimes, and try to persuade it to stop the slaughter. 10,000 lives, and counting! 4,000 women and children! How many more deaths until you open your eyes to the reality of what is happening? How many hostages will lose their lives if Netanyahu insists on force rather than negotiations to free them? Let's not forget too the alarming increase in anti-Semitism in many countries. The Israeli government's hard line is only storing up problems for the future. In the longer term Israel will be less safe in consequence of what it's doing in Gaza. It can exterminate Hamas but the Hydra will only regrow multiple heads. |
