| OK when we have all finished taking verbal swipes at on another let's step back a little and ask this question. With the benefit of hindsight, the spike in virus, the overwhelming numbers of folk attending should the market have gone ahead? The most sensible suggestion I have seen on the forum is a soft opening should have been launched. I am happy to give the organisers the benefit of the doubt that they had no idea numbers of visitors was going to be so high or the spike. Maybe I am being over generous and they should have planned for that but I hope 'lessons have been learnt' and the October event will take into full account of the circumstances at the time. If they press ahead regardless, I for one will less than impressed to say the least. |
