| I guess it depends to a degree what demographic was at the flower show. If lots of 17-21 year olds and lots of OAPs then it is definitely a no go. I'd guess, however (i didn't go, so no idea) that the average age range was 30s and up. If so, then the statistics are slightly overstating the potential number of people infected at the event. However, the older age groups clearly at much greater risk. So somewhat of a quandary isn't it. Hopefully they find a way for it to work and I guess the numbers of attendees will be lower next time - fewer going to have a look/novelty value etc. |
