'Epistemological nihilism '. I had to look up what that meant but it pretty well describes my beliefs or lack of them. Analysis of issues - yes, that's available. Looking into the future is impossible. Nobody can know what will happen outside Europe which will have a massive effect on the EU/UK. What happens in the US/China/Russia/Far East/ India/ South America will come into play. Our decision to stay or leave may well be irrelevant. Gut instinct is as good as dubious facts. Some people will research facts but very few are truly impartial. I count myself as biased. I start from a position and looks for facts to support that view. I consider myself of above average intelligence and interest. |
