I'm sorry RG, I think you may have missed my point The problem with the scenario provided by the anonymous Facebook contributor is that it is a gross over-simplification. It is incomplete. In fact it is distinctly one-sided in that it focusses almost exclusively on the costs of remaining in the hypothetical family. It largely fails to acknowledge that there will be benefits of remaining, costs of leaving and benefits of leaving. All of these costs and benefits need to identified, quantified and measured against each other in order to make an informed decision. |
