| Correct. William of Orange was not only married to the heir to the throne (excluding the "warming pan baby" whose birth was the catalyst for William's invitation) but also had a claim himself as the grandson of Charles I. A very different scenario from the invasion of Guillaume le Batard in AD1066 or Claudius in AD43. |
