Is the area not pretty good for public transport? 5 mins walk from Gunnersbury and Kew Bridge, 10-15 mins to the Piccadilly line at Acton town, about 5 bus routes.  Its certainly better served than the buildings along the A4 in Brentford although I agree that the existing traffic is awful.
