| It looks to me like a tame copy of the design for the V&A extension that, thankfully, isn't going to be built. Neither original nor attractive. But I think more important than the look (this isn't the most attractive or lingered at location) is the height and amount of extra traffic it might bring. I am therefore pleased these are being scaled back, and I am sure the Counsellors and officials will take due consideration of the impact on traffic. But I have no intrinsic objection to advertising in an area like that, provided it doesn't distract drivers. And I hope part of the planning agreement has some benefits from that coming back to the community. |
