| Sorry, Michael, Mr. Lesniak travels this cycleway several times a day. Some on bike. Some driving adjacent conducting daily business. Now then, it appears you are not familiar with the raised carriageway at Weltje. Twice painted with the requisite yield symbols. It's a doozie as people often scrape the undercarriage given the gradient, etc. Parents love to pull up on it, stop, let the kids out, block all manner of traffic and then move toward the A4. Now then, it appears you are not familiar with the signal between Rivercourt and Weltje. As long as remodeling is on the table, why not simply remodel this entire trio of crossings? Why not move the signal to Weltje? Why not redirect pedestrians to a newly positioned signaled crossing? The most recent iteration at Rivercourt is a joke in terms of safety. It puts kids on bikes in the path of oncoming buses with nary a barrier in sight. Is this what you campaigned for? |
