I assume that Mr Lesniak hasn't noticed there are signal controls at the junction of Chiswick Lane and Cycleway 9 and just ploughs through whatever colour the lights are.
On the Hounslow section of C9, where there were junctions that exceeded guidelines for volumes of vehicles crossing the cycle lane, Hounslow have either added signal controls (like Chiswick Lane, Dukes Ave) or fully or partially closed the junction to motor traffic (like Wellesley Rd, Stile Hall Gardens). So all the remaining junctions meet guidelines. Additionally, work has been done to remodel junctions such as tightening turning radius and raised carriageways to slow vehicles down. Something else LBHF has failed to do at Weltje. |
