| According to Diana of the Corney Reach Estate who is coordinating a petition to the Council, some 2,000 persons in 1,200 homes are potentially affected by this unilateral and unreasonable plan - that's about 10% of the entire popultion of Chiswick, I believe. For once, I'd hope that the cycling lobby could get behind this petition - unless, of course, cyclists assume they will not be hit by the restrictions because they cycle and/or go the wrong way down one-way streets. It is time for ALL residents in Chiswick to stand up against this classic example of arbitrary and totally unrepresentative local government. |
