| But this is not party political. It is a competency issue. Local residents would have little or no objection to the premise of LTN if they were well thought out measures that actually consider the local community they are supposed to protect. As it happens because of incompetence, inability to plan and manage then execute a project there are measures that are urgent but have not even been considered under these LTN measures such as controlling speeding traffic and high volume traffic on Riverside Drive and others. The local South Chiswick residents living on the east side of a316 have been lumped in with none local rat runners and penalised from unfettered access to Grove Park and Brentford. Writing to the SS for transport or the pm and asking for resignations will met with the scorn it deserves. Writing to the SS for Communities and asking why he has allowed such important community initiatives to be left in the hands of incapable counsellors may have more impact. In the meantime if everyone voted out this tranche of incompetents it paves the way for letting someone more capable to do the job properly. If you vote for spammers all you will get is nuts! |
