| As mention further up the thread, Hounslow are creating a gated community,can you imagine when estate agents get hold of the idea and start marketing the houses inside this area. No doubt that will increase the price of the properties, but the down side is Hounslow being the worse council on the block, will note that Chiswick residents gaining off their road scheme. So this could start them looking at the rateable values and start increasing the amount of council tax you should pay to live in such an area, No doubt that will have a knock on effect to the rest of Chiswick. It may also be relevant, that the Pro LTN's, and Pro Cycling lobby have infiltrated the Grove Park Group, so any news from them my be a bit iffy in the future. |
