| I am aware of that. I am also aware that we have precious little leverage with the EU at the moment, also my rather puckish sense of humour would rather enjoy us being able to drive a wedge between the EU & some of the member states. AZ are ramping up & are now, or if not are imminently going to be chucking out 2 mill doses per week, that is from their plants in the UK, we were only reliant on the Belgium plant for the initial doses. The J&J Vaccine which is the potential gamechanger as it's one shot, apparently has very robust data which is due to be released next week & will likely have UK regulatory approval by March with delivery by April, we have 30 million doses ordered and an option on 20 million more. Thanks to the NHS the we are on track to meet the vaccination targets set. We are in the very rare position to a) ostensibly do the decent thing and b) stir the pot a touch whilst doing it. Win/win. |
