They actually had a plan for Brexit called 'Flexcit' - a gradual withdrawal from the EU initially via the EFTA/EEA framework. It was a rational and carefully crafted solution. Flexcit was rejected by other Leave campaigners, even though they had no plans of their own. A real shame because I, as someone who voted to remain, could have supported it as a sensible way to implement the vote to leave. Hey-ho. |
