| So has Germany gone behind the back of the union and bought vaccine for itself. This hypocrisy and double standard together with the ineffectual European vaccine purchases shows that we were right to go it alone. It looks like the Union dithered and prevaricated and essentially took too long to put in their orders and so now will be waiting behind the likes of Israel and us. If we were still in the union and only relying on common purchasing of the vaccine then we too would be standing by waiting for enough supplies whilst our vulnerable would by dying in far greater numbers. Unfortunately this will become much clearer over the next few months. Well done Boris |
