| I know its confusing for you but the whole vaccine thing has nothing to do with Brexit. Each EU country can set their own standards for vaccine safety - or they can rely on the EU approvals. And each EU country can buy their own batches of the vaccine from which ever supplier will sell it to them - or they join an EU wide purchasing scheme. Smaller EU countries will benefit more from the EU approvals and purchasing. Johnson's government has done one thing right (and one thing only) in this pandemic - push through vast purchases of various vaccines. Otherwise he and his government have been shambolic. But they would have been within or out of the EU. |
