| The thought of me being grumpy and/or with steam coming out of my ears seems to be about the only thing sustaining you doesn't it? At least given the amount of times you mention it that's certainly how it seems. I am actually pretty sanguine about the whole process, for reasons that should be pretty obvious if you give it a few seconds thought. Brexit was never going to affect me personally too badly, beyond the irritation of queuing at immigration on mainland Europe now & again. I'm struggling to muster some sympathy for the fishing industry (voted 92% to leave) that now appears to be facing bankruptcy, or the Kent residents (voted 58% to leave) up in arms this morning at the construction of yet another lorry park. Still, as they've been telling us for the last 4+ years they knew what they were voting for. So, sorry to disappoint, no steam, a touch of (not so) well suppressed schadenfreude from time-to-time as yet another group that voted leave, discover that in common with just about everyone else who has ever placed their trust in Johnson, that they've been sold a pup. But mostly just getting on with things. |
