| Too far to walk - for Carolyn or me. And Reform Judaism doesn't demand that you do which is just as well. When we lived in Shepherds Bush, we did occasionally walk to Upper Berkeley Street on high days and holidays but Acton (or Kew) to Friends House opposite Euston Station, just too much of a shlep! The Pope's visit apparently meant it was impossible to get back for the closing Synagogue service last night which was a bore. |
