Sorry for rattling your cage. I didn't mention anything about bigots or nutters, you did this all on your own. You've said the Popes visit has limit appeal but what are you basing this on? As I said before, I think it's silly the amount of money this is costing and I won't be tuning specially in to see the visit although I'm sure I'll catch snippets of it on the news. I just really don't get the venom directed at the Pope, notice I'm not specifically referring to you before you get even more upset. I too disagree with a lot of the beliefs/preaching's of the Catholic Church but does that mean the Pope isn't entitled to visit? there are I'm sure a number of people who are interested in the visit why not let them enjoy it and if you're not interested then just ignore it. The money has been spent now so I struggle to see the benefit of protesting unless these are aimed at the policies of the church? |
