If by 'structure of the voting' you mean who was permitted a vote and who was not then perhaps you need to review your conclusion. UK citizens who had lived in the EU for over 15 years were not permitted a vote. That is, UK citizens and not people who had moved to another country's citizenship. That is UK citizens who had many years of paying taxes in the UK and some a lot of cases were drawing a UK pension. Does it seem fair to you that these people, perhaps the UK citizens most directly and severely impacted by a Brexit, were not allowed a vote? |
