Really? That's your convincing argument that leave voters are not stupid? A small amount of people may have decided to vote for Labour in the last GE. But then remember, you were very clear at the time that the GE was not just about brexit. And remember, as Labour's policy was to continue with brexit how would that party be seen as so attractive to a remain voters. Some may have voted labour but how do you suddenly know the logic of such voters? Many remain voters in 2016 were hugely disappointed in the pathetic efforts of labour to campaign for remain. Many blamed Corbyn as much as Cameron for the poor remain efforts in 2016. Many still do. No, the definition of stupidity around brexit is not the voting in the GE. The definition is about the overwhelming evidence that Brexit is harmful to the UK and yet still supporting it. The definition of stupidity is to believe the Brexit claims of people like Rees-Mogg, Gove, Fox, Johnson and Farage. In just two years these words have shown to be empty lies. (Which remain voters could have told you at the time.) |
