Thank you to the people who have emphasized here that, in law the results of any any Referendum are merely advisable not binding. The problem goes way back to David Cameron who plainly lied, promised and said otherwise! He promised something which it was not possible to promise. No wonder we are a nation never governed by referenda. We've been had! The United Kingdom apparently has no power to change anything in our governance by an ever increasing federal Europe. The job was done years ago, we have signed away our sovereignty and that's it chums - the European Union will not release or relax any of its controls, they've got us and they ain't going to let us go! For all the wriggling and squirming of the past months we now have even fewer chances of re-negotiating our position - we are worse off than when we started and appear to have relinquished what little powers we ever had. Our once proud and free country has been crushed by the Federalists - they have achieved what 2 World Wars failed to do. |
