Andrew Neil being the font of all knowledge presumably. On another point. Unwisely and totally out of character, we had a referendum the results of which we were assured by both Tories and Labour they would fully accept and action. Well, the result, unpalatable as it might be to some, was to LEAVE the EU. Both Parties swore in their manifestos to uphold the results so why are we having all this division? Why not get on with implementing the wishes of THE PEOPLE, that both Parties are supposed to care so deeply about? Of course the remainers are saying THE PEOPLE are too stupid to comphrend what they voted for, so these enlightend MPs have decided to ignore the Referendum results as they, the MPs know best. That doesn't seem to have been a roaring success does it? Perhaps if the Government had united behind the results LEAVE the EU and immediately set about doing just that, we'd be in a better place now with treaties etc in place all ready to sign in March. I know nothing about politics but a promise is a promise - and our MPs are breaking that! Will THE PEOPLE ever trust them again? |
