| By far and away the majority of people in Chiswick sort out their recycling and put it out correctly - it is only a very small percentage who have filthy habits and dump everything in together and never wash out the food waste bin. This bin business is an overdose of nannying. If people find there is rubbish in the street after the recycling lorry has been, it is usually down to the way the recycling is put out by the residents. I have no complaints about rubbish etc. after they have been. The men are generally very diligent in their jobs and pleasant too. It is a job and not the nicest but it also depends on how they are treated by the residents as to how they behave. Treat them well and you get a good service. ps I take the lid off my bin on collection mornings to stop it going awol. |
