"And I rarely react to insults from members of the public, but I have my limits" I wonder where the insult is? Holding public officials to account for their very own publicly admitted shortcomings is not an insult. To be clear. Guy you've represented there is an initiative to provide community infrastructure in Brentford which included parking. Yet in Chiswick parking amenity is slated to be wiped off the map. If (a really big IF) the Sainsburys car park is at all public, why is it not advertised as such? And, yes Tony(?), there is parking available that allows easy access to shops. The majority of it is on the single-yellow lines and it props up the evening and Sunday economies. So while we all listen to Guy wax on about how Brentford will get a shining new car park with a chuck of spots dedicated for retail, why on earth must we sit quietly when he supports the removal of same here? And this when he admits a lack of knowledge in the area. He knows where to find us. Instead, he attacks on a public forum. |
