So originally 300 retail/commercial spaces in Brentford were planned and now roughly 170-ish. While all single-yellow parking in Chiswick will be erased by CS9. Every last inch of it. As for Will's input on rhe Sainsburys car park - it is a private lot dedicated to Sainsburys customers. One can't park there and bip off for a pint or new shoes avoiding Sainsburys altogether. Increased use of online grocery shopping/deliveries creates less in-store visits resulting in less parking needed overall. If LBH had a creative bone residing anywhere in its personnel, it would approach Sainsburys to share the carpark and offer it to all local businesses. Get this...it would also create revenue for "cash-strapped" Hounslow. You could then direct all cars to a community car park and all businesses would benefit. People would no longer need to circle around searching which would help with idling motors and pollution. Cycling isn't the only thing which needs infrastructure. Community infrastructure is just as vital. |
