Sainsbury's is a public car park. Free for 30 mins, £2 for an hour, £4 for 2 hours. I'm not sure about out-of -hours but I suspect the barriers are up and it's free. I have certainly used the 30 mins free from time to time and I remember the outcry when they tried to withdraw it. I generally find it more convenient to use on street parking if I'm going to the George/Waterstones/TGT and as I have said before I've rarely had a problem finding a space. Of course yellow line parking out of hours is another matter, but I doubt it's true that "every inch" will be removed: there are roads in Chiswick other than CHR. By the way, I believe there will still be 300 spaces ultimately in Brentford, with the other 130 in the supermarket car park. |
