Will, my experience too, as I shared in a previous thread. I have also rarely had a problem finding an on-street paid space. Of course, out of hours is a little different, though there have been many threads on here over the years decrying the free for all especially on Sundays and calling for restrictions. The numbers of spaces in Brentford are a little tricky. The original outline planning app from 2015 calls for 900 spaces overall, 600 for residential (.66 spaces per flat) and 300 for supermarket/general retail/offices/commercial. The current application for 'Block G' seems to be for about 100 spaces less than originally expected and is for 508 spaces incl 29 disabled. Not specific as to purpose but the original 606 space application included 170 non residential. 4 years' water having gone under the bridge what's finally built may differ somewhat to the outline permission. |
