| I was in Sainsbury's car park again yesterday. There were at least 50 empty spaces. Anyone can park there free for half an hour - if you are not a Sainsbury customer you can still park there longer for a fee of £2 for 2 hours. Sounds reasonable value. It does suggest that parking is not the main reason for the decline of the High Road and increasing the provision will not make much difference. |
