| Charles, I'm sorry Wilmington didn't get cleared today. I had to go to Hounslow West for 10am but I had a look around Chiswick first and saw the efforts you had made to facilitate clearing. I also saw the Trilo team in Gordon Road and from a quick look at the roads around there it seems that it is doing a good clearance job, albeit with some teething troubles (to put it politely) as Iris describes. The guys seemed very pleased with their new toy. When I saw them they were reversing round a corner and having some difficulty as the Trilo is a trailer and probably quite a challenge to maneouvre behind a transit truck. Of course it sounds a bit daft to use cul-de-sac as a reason but reversing the rig along quite a long road needs care and they are probably unused to reversing trailers. I'll emphasise they really do need to deliver on Wednesday and I'm hoping that by the evening you'll be purring with pleasure at a newly clean street. |
