Charles - a lay assessor (stupid name) is a volunteer who reports problems to HH about issues we observe. There are 12 of us across the Borough. We meet with HH to discuss the issues every month. However at present we are not having much effect - as Councillor Lambert knows - and we do not have any power to make HH do things. I know the problems about leaves and there is little point in my visiting you just to say I agree with you, it is the same around here and isn't it a problem! However there is a great deal of point in you engaging with Councillor Lambert who is looking at these issues with HH. I have raised your issues with HH but have so far had no response. If I do have a response I will let you know. If it is any consolation, you have gone further than any residents I know in collecting leaves and disposing of them. Most don't even notice them. |
