" Absolutely - from my well documented trials trying to help elderly neighbours - once the right officer who clearly knew her job and wanted to get to grips with the issues got involved we were finally making rapid progress. Of course it shouldn't be like that - and I really do think that elected members have to bear the responsibility for much of this though - and get off their bums and do what we elect them for - run the bloody council - not pass the buck. |
