Richard, thank you for providing an informative quick summary which is clearly much needed. I find that sometimes lack of infomation about the magnitude of the possible consequences cause people to misjudge the issue completely. (Re the last sentence of your posting; I think the change of plans in the government policy is due to the profit-maximising lobbying of the Airlines. Unfortunately local residents' interests are not their priority.) |
