There's many a tale to tell. My daughter lives in an old farmhouse in the hills of Ibiza with her 2 and partner. Swimming pool, tents, trampolines and hammocks galore but no staring at screens. They have a music room ( their father is an IT expert and musician plus yoga and aikido ). Bashing away with a drum kit is fine. The nearest neighbour is over a mile away They practice permaculture. They rent it out for the school hols and take to their camper van nearby with the dog. A different and broadening experience. Chiswick is even broader. All those big red buses with top decks and shops everywhere. Charity shops that is! And we can easily turn the sitting room into a camp. And we don't have to take the recycling to a village. It's collected for us. I'll be visiting them in Ibiza, for a break!, after the hol season is over. |
