| I can see Jesus on a mountain bike, meself. They are both sturdy and practical. Jesus certainly wouldn't be seen dead in a 4x4 - they are the modern equivalent of the chariots that the Romans used to charge around on looking down on the peasants from their "superb high driving position". However I don't see a cycling Jesus as a red light jumper. He could just get the lights to change as he approached them on his bike. And the Old Testament trick of parting the waves would surely come in handy when cycling down Chiswick High Road as he could just part the cars, buses, 4x4s and other obstructions. |
