| "why do people hate them so much?" I guess the above posts answer your question but I think that for London or any town or city in the UK they are unnecessary, gas guzzling status symbols and generally speaking the drivers of such vehicles seem to have problems with judgements of road width and space and, instead of recognising these limitations, they become quite obsessed with the idea that the road is theirs because of their vehicle size and everyone else should move out of the way or reverse up to let them pass. But hey - that's just my observation. No doubt others will say that drivers of 4x4's are the most courteous in the country. |
