| OK - I know some idiots drive 4x4s - im not denying that. However I have seen more idiotic, suicidal cyclists do stupid things AND show bad attitudes in Chiswick alone than I ever have done in my whole life. Crossing traffic lights because they think the 'red' doesn't apply to them. Running people over on pedestrian crossings because they think they are exempt from the law... swearing at other drivers just because THE CYCLIST has put themselves in a position of danger. They may be only cycling a bike - but they epitomize the bad attitude that is the real problem and the core of the discussion/problem we are talking about. Attitude and innability is the problem - not what you drive. Got a problem with delivery vans? Lorries? Large estate cars? PEOPLE CARRIERS? (I hear Jeremy Clarkson cheer in the backgroun..) |
