I used to have a jeep cherokee with a whopping 3.7 L V^ engine. It was a superb high driving position. The visibility all round was much better and safer than any other regular car I had driven. The seat were heated and lovely. And because it was a soft, floaty comfortable drive - I drove it much slower and gentler than my other cars. It was terrible on fuel economy and tax though - So for a season I have sold it and bought a toyota aygo. Real cheap run about... but one day I will get my BMW X5 V8 - but it will have an LPG conversion and do the equivalent of 45-50 mpg, be better for the environment than a prius and be less road tax. Plus - if you havent ever driven a powerful, high up 4x4 - you have no idea what you are missing. A driving luxury and pleasure. My mum hated 4x4's and thought they were arrogant and brutish and unnecessary until she drove mine and then was a complete convert. Although the school run, and ladies/gents who are too small driving them is scarey. If you dont kno whow to drive it or dont have parking assist - then DONT DRIVE IT! |
