| Traffic evaporation is working really well for the new scheme they have implemented in Highbury Corner - this was someone's twitter comment from a couple of days ago: #HighburyCorner Welcome to the Friday evening traffic hell caused by the Highbury Corner 'improvements'. Please please can we change it back to how it was. I live here and the pollution is awful. Stationary vehicles everywhere 🙁 Long wait for pedestrian crossings... One other lady also tweeted that she lives in a residential street and now her street is constantly jammed with vehicles because of the bike lane - which the cyclists are choosing not to use. Equally - all those people who use public transport are now stuck in jams - one girl asked Tfl for a refund on her journey to work as the journey is now so long. I suspect this is what will happen in most of West London. |
