| Wasn't disputing the frequency on each branch - just the number of passengers. There has never seemed to me to be an appreciable difference in crowding on an Ealing vs Richmond train except in the early morning peak when the former are more frequent. I can see the argument for not stopping at Chiswick Park for Heathrow but what would the gain in not stopping the Uxbridge/Rayners Lane trains? You may be right about how many people from Chiswick switch to Crossrail. Is the interchange at Ealing Broadway going to be that complicated - I thought it was a simple platform change? |
