| "Assuming they aren't planning to send significant numbers of Piccadilly line trains over the District line between Hammersmith and Turnham Green," I would have thought that the Ealing Piccadilly trains would run on the existing District tracks, in order to compensate for the reduced District service at Stamford Brook and Ravenscourt Park. They wouldn't be able to stop on the Piccadilly tracks at those stations without holding up the Heathrow and Uxbridge services (and anyway Stamford Brook has no eastbound Piccadilly platform). |
