| It would have to be resignalled first. Chiswick Park will have to be served by the Piccadilly line following the change. Assuming they aren't planning to send significant numbers of Piccadilly line trains over the District line between Hammersmith and Turnham Green, they will need some new points west of Turnham Green to allow Piccadilly line trains to stop at Chiswick Park. If they are putting in new points for that, then the change will be part of the re-signaling. To start with, the new trains will run on the existing signaling. |
