See previous thread. It's only patronising if I'm talking down to people, I"m not. I'm assuming people are able to engage in an argument that is above the undeniably trivial nature of most of the stuff in this forum. As it stands I have a view, it appears this view makes people uncomfortable. If people would prefer to not talk about global warming here then I will stop. Put it like this, what if i was right and wanted to get my view across. Could I do that without some people claiming I was either arrogant or patronising. The answer I feel is probably no for reasons that would sound patronising and arrogant. It's a first impressions thing really and something I stop worrying about as there's no way around it other than stay quiet and well behaved. How dull is that? :) |
