| This Food Waste Conference coming up in March could be useful for those in the industry striving to reduce the huge amount that is being thrown away. Perhaps we should all also be lobbying defra to allocate some funds to remind everyone of the Waste Hierarchy which although we are told we have to abide by it seems to have been forgotten or is sadly being ignored by many. We now have the new Simpler Recycling recently put into law coming into effect for Businesses of 10 or more people - where the same things should be recyclable across the country so that we can move from one place to another and the recyclables will be the same.
