| Felicity, this is a surprising take from you. Speculation given the accounting and evidence is entirely in order. You often seem to come from a PR perspective. I see that generic fobbing off as part of a rehearsed response given to staffers as a talking point. The impression I get is Jenny asked one person (no offense to Jenny). If this is happening at other locations, does it strike me as odd M&S hasn't come out with a more detailed description positioning itself as doing good? Yes. It seems to me this would be an opportunity for transparency. But in the realm of PR, perhaps the issue doesn't have traction enough to warrant that type of response. |
