Kerry McCarthy MP had a similar Bill going through Parliament but I can't remember what happened. (I now see it ran out of time.) There are a lot of food collection companies so if there's a problem with one ideally they would be able to call in support from elsewhere and locally would obviously be best. However having read a bit more I nearly fell of my chair when I read that M&S consider themselves to be a food specialist rather than a supermarket... Most of us think that good food should be initially redistributed as exactly what it is: FOOD! |
