Given the subject matter this is a surprisingly sensible conversation on this forum. Surely there should be some kind of London wide overview of these schemes. To have to change bikes when you go in or out of Chiswick is simply bonkers I have very limited experience of bike hire but in the last week tried out Santander and Forest. I gave up on Forest very quickly and the Santander app seems to have all kinds of glitches and I could not buy a ride using it. I could only hire a bike by using a card at the bike station. I didn’t think much of the bikes either. Not tried lime yet but have noticed they seem to have a discount scheme for those who have a 60+ oyster card https://www.li.me/en-gb/why/community/lime-access |
