| Posssibly a last roll of the dice for Cllr Katherine Dunne? She is no longer "Deputy Leader" as reported on the front page? She remains LBH's portfolio holder for Environment, Climate Change and Transport - for which she received a responsibility allowance of £22,472 in 2024/5 in addition to her allowance as a councillor (£12,730) Cllr Dunne attempts to pass all the blame for the poor performamce of the Lime Bikes scheme on to a "small minority are behaving in an anti-social and inconsiderate manner causing inconvenience and potential danger to Hounslow’s residents, visitors and businesses". She added that Lime had been asked to “redouble their efforts” to address unsafe use, but persistent complaints continued. It is not clear why Cllr Dunne believes that the new operators will perform any better. |
